We are the ONLY wholesale bagel bakery to use 'STAY-FRESH' packaging instead of bulk.

We also are fully automated for pre-packaged (6-packs, etc) and slicing.

The Company began humbly in 1995 with a modest rented facility and minimal equipment. In the ensuing decade, Original Bagel enjoyed significant sales growth and dramatically expanded its equipment.

Today Original Bagel occupies its own 30,000 square foot building, housing both executive offices, the scratch baking operation and cold storage.

Employing over fifty hard-working people, Original Bagel enjoys sales across North America throughout all major channels of distribution.

Original Bagel is focused on three primary areas – quality oriented in-store bakeries, upscale foodservice purveyors and speciality stores.   It is an independently inspected Company & certified Kosher.

With an ongoing commitment to acquiring the most modern technology, Original Bagel is confident that it offers the highest quality product on a consistent basis.

In January 2008, Original Bagel completed its $3,500,000 equipment upgrade to both greatly increase output and provide a boiled bagel second to none.
